Entry pre-requisite

Both for the Team or individual participation it is necessary to have a minimum age of 18 years and be able to swim in open water.

Each athlete needs to have an Agonistic Medical Certificate valid on race day.

No external sales of your entry is allowed.

In the case of Team is allowed to change one team member of the same gender.

Race course

The race course is marked

The participants must follow the marked course

The participants that do not follow the marked course will be disqualified

Swim course

The entry and exit of each swim leg will be clearly marked by flags and/or banners

Medical points

There will be at least two medical points (one on each lake) where participants can get help if needed

Water checkpoints

There will be a number of water/food checkpoints throughout the course. To identify these points you can check the course description page


Mandatory equipment that the organisation will supply

Race numbers (either bib number or arm and leg tatoo) must be visible all the time during the race

Swimcaps must be worn visible during all the swims. The two memebrs o the same team will have cap with different colour

Equipment that is NOT allowed

Floatation help (apart from pullbuoys)




The time is from the start until the finish line.

Time limit for the whole course will be 6 hours.

The team has to pass all timing checkpoints and the finish line together.

Cut offs

Throughout the course there will be two cutoff gate.

The first : Lake Suviana Swim Entry where the teams need to pass not later than 2h30’ from the start.

The second : At the first access point in the water to Lake Brasimone that meets back from Suviana, the time limit is 4h30’ from the start.

If a team or individual miss these cutoff has to abandon the race and come back to the start.

Racers responsibility


The participants must know the rules and follow these

The participants shall respect other participants, organisation, spectators and the people living in the race area.

The participants are not allowed to use unfair methods to get advantages

The participants are obliged to help in case of emergency if the organisation is asking for it.

During the race

The participants are participating at their own risk and can not hold the organisation responsible for any accident during the race.

The athlete are obliged at their best ability to help another team that have been injured or being sick.

A team or individual  that has abandoned the race shall report it as soon as possible to the organisation.

The participants are not allowed to throw trash in the nature. If a team is doing so they will get disqualified.

External assistance

It is not allowed to receive assistance from other people than the race organisation.


General safety rules

The two members of each team has to stay together at all time and can not be more than 10 metres apart.

The race organisation can refuse a team o individual to continue if they judge them not capable caused by fatigue or being in such bad physical condition.

Pictures and film free rights

The participants gives the race organisation the right to use pictures and film material taken during the race to be used free of rights in marketing, press material, internet, television and movie.

All images and rights from the event are reserved. All unauthorized commercial use of images will be legally adressed.

Accepting the rules

By entering the race each team member accepts the rules in full.
